Nishinomaru Garden is located within the greater Osaka Castle Park between the Outer Western Moat and the Inner Moat of Osaka Castle. Nishinomaru Garden was opened in 1965. It is the site of the former residence of Kita-no-mandokoro (wife of Toyotomi Hideyoshi, a Japanese ruler in the 16th century).
