Kuala Lumpur, the top 5 must see sights and must to do attractions in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia gets inspired :
Kuala Lumpur Petronas Towers
The number one building/attraction that will never cease to amaze me is the Petronas Twin Towers. This skyscraper is visited by millions, loved by all and is like no other building in Kuala Lumpur. No visit to the city is complete without a picture of you standing in front of the twin towers and afterwards enjoying the adjoining park and shopping center. The sun sets around 7pm in Kuala Lumpur so be sure to visit during the afternoon.
Batu Caves Hindu temple
This Hindu temple and shrine is well known in Kuala Lumpur. Located about 10 kilometers north of Kuala Lumpur this attraction is known for its giant golden statue and numerous stair steps that need to be taken to reach the top. Batu Caves can be easily reached by train or bus which can be taken from KL Central. The busiest day is during the Thaipusam festival when around nearly one million pilgrims visit this site for religious and festival purposes. The 272 steps provide you a great work out while enjoying the view, however be careful of the monkeys as they are very cheeky here.
Fraser’s Hill Enthusiasts of cycling go here
Fraser’s Hill is located about two hours away from Kuala Lumpur in the state of Selangor but is definitely worth the visit. In this beautiful nature reserve you can see the stunning views, visit the waterfall and look around the traditional village. Enthusiasts of cycling go here as this is a very demanding road and will require the fullest physical effort from your body. The waterfall which can be found here is a true joy and an obvious moment for a picture. The water will be freezing but once you have got over the initial dip, you will certainly enjoy it to its fullest.
KL Bird Park and Butterfly Park the garden while butterflies will fly
Both parks offer a lot of fun no matter what age you are. The KL Bird Park and Butterfly Park are in closed vicinity of each other and as a day trip this will offer you a great experience. The birds in the bird park are very used to visitors so if you buy some food they will love to sit on your shoulder and pose for a picture. In the butterfly park you can walk through the garden while butterflies will fly all around you. These parks will make you relax in a city that is bustling with traffic.
Little India Brickfields customized/traditional henna tattoo
Try on and customize your own Saree or just go here to enjoy the numerous curries, naans and other dishes that make the Indian kitchen a true favourite in Malaysia. For the girls you can also get your own customized/traditional henna tattoo. My suggestion is to visit Vaani’s beauty salon which my friends often use for events like Deepavali. If you want to get the full Brickfields experience then go to KL City Hall to enquire about the guided tour which is free of charge and will be held every first and third Saturday of the month.
